1. PREAMBLE AND ACCEPTANCE

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Conqr Labs LLC (“Conqr Labs,” “we,” “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using any Plans, you confirm that you have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these Terms in their entirety.

2. DEFINITIONS

“Plans” means any and all CAD files, drawings, bills of materials (BOM), build guides, documentation, or other digital files that Conqr Labs makes available for download in relation to the CNC machine.

“Machine” means a CNC machine or any other apparatus that you build or assemble using the Plans, in whole or in part.

3. LICENSE GRANT AND RESTRICTIONS

3.1 License. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Conqr Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to: (a) download and store the Plans for your own personal use; and (b) build, modify, and operate one or more Machines for any lawful purpose, including using the Machine to create and sell goods or services.

3.2 Restrictions. Conqr Labs retains all rights in the Plans not expressly granted. You must NOT: (i) publish, upload, sell, sublicense, redistribute, or otherwise make the Plans or any derivative design files available to any third party; (ii) remove or alter any proprietary notice on or within the Plans; (iii) use the Conqr Labs name or logo without our express written permission; (iv) sell, offer for sale, or otherwise commercially distribute a completed Machine, or any kit of parts designed to build a Machine; or (v) fabricate for sale, sell, or otherwise commercially distribute the proprietary plates specified in the Plans or any component derived directly from the Plans’ design files.

3.3 Termination. This license terminates automatically and immediately if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, you must permanently delete all copies of the Plans in your possession or control.

4. USER CONTRIBUTIONS

If you voluntarily submit any modifications, improvements, or other feedback regarding the Plans (“Contributions”), you grant Conqr Labs an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute those Contributions for any purpose, without any obligation or compensation to you.

5. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND VENDOR DISCLAIMER

The Plans, specifically the Bill of Materials (BOM), may contain links to third-party websites, products, or vendors for your convenience. You understand and agree to the following:

5.1 Purpose of Links. These links are provided as examples only, to help you identify the types of components required. Their inclusion does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation.

5.2 No Affiliation. Conqr Labs has no affiliation, connection, or financial relationship with any third-party vendor mentioned in the Plans. We do not receive commissions or any other benefit for providing these links.

5.3 User Responsibility. You are solely responsible for sourcing your own components. It is your responsibility to research and vet vendors, verify component specifications, and ensure that the parts you purchase are safe and suitable for your intended build.

5.4 Disclaimer of Liability. Conqr Labs is not responsible or liable for any aspect of your interaction with third-party vendors. We expressly disclaim all liability for any issues that may arise, including but not limited to: defective or incorrect parts, shipping errors, pricing discrepancies, poor customer service, or any other damages or losses resulting from your purchases from or interactions with third-party vendors.

6. SAFETY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND USER RESPONSIBILITY

WARNING: BUILDING AND OPERATING A CNC MACHINE IS AN INHERENTLY DANGEROUS ACTIVITY THAT CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY, DEATH, OR SIGNIFICANT PROPERTY DAMAGE.

By downloading or using the Plans, you acknowledge and agree that you, and you alone, are solely and exclusively responsible for your own safety. You agree to assume all risks associated with building, modifying, and operating any Machine created from the Plans.

These risks include, but are not limited to: electrical shock, fire, mechanical hazards from moving parts, entanglement, projectile hazards, and health issues from inhaling dust or fumes.

Conqr Labs has not tested your specific Machine, the components you have sourced, or your assembly work. You are responsible for ensuring that any Machine you build is designed, assembled, wired, programmed, tested, maintained, and operated in a safe manner and in full accordance with all applicable laws, codes, and industry safety standards in your jurisdiction.

6.5 Acknowledgement of Skill and Duty to Test. By downloading the Plans, you represent and warrant that you possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and judgment to safely build, operate, and maintain a CNC Machine. You further agree that you have an independent duty to thoroughly inspect and test your completed Machine for mechanical, electrical, and operational safety before putting it into use.

6.6 “As-Built” Disclaimer. Conqr Labs provides the Plans as a design template only. We have no control over the quality of components you source, the skill of your assembly, or any modifications you make. Therefore, all responsibilities and liabilities are related to your final, “as-built” Machine, for which Conqr Labs bears no responsibility.

7. NO WARRANTIES

THE PLANS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CONQR LABS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7.1 No Professional Advice. The information provided in the Plans is for educational and informational purposes only. The Plans do not constitute professional engineering, electrical, or safety advice. You should consult with qualified professionals to ensure the safety, legality, and appropriateness of any Machine you build for your specific use case and environment.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT WILL CONQR LABS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PLANS OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLANS. THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF CONQR LABS FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLANS SHALL NOT EXCEED TEN U.S. DOLLARS ($10.00).

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Conqr Labs and its affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Plans; (b) the building, operation, or performance of any Machine you create; (c) any bodily injury, death, or property damage caused by a Machine; or (d) your violation of these Terms.

10. PRIVACY NOTICE

When you download the Plans, we may ask for your email address to send you updates or other relevant information. We use cookies and standard server logs on our website. Your personal data is handled in accordance with our full Privacy Policy.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively by binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Wyoming, USA. You and Conqr Labs waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.

12. GENERAL PROVISIONS

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Conqr Labs regarding the Plans. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. You may not assign these Terms. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
